Snootz started karate a couple of weeks ago and adding two classes per week into our schedule has definitely made our weeks feel even busier than they already felt. It’s been a positive addition though and I am looking forward to seeing him continue to learn and grow in various areas.
We made a trip to the pumpkin farm at the end of October and were able to experience some beautiful weather that day. We had so much fun together as a family. The time together with all five of us has been limited because of Joey’s work schedule so it was a really special day. We ran out of time and didn’t carve our pumpkins but I loved the way they looked outside our house just the way they were.
The kids went trick or treating with their cousins on another unusually warm October day in Wisconsin. They had such a good time and Snootz dressed up as a knight, Kitty Cat a fairy and Tootsie Pop a princess.
We had some tough days last week and one day in particular was pretty awful with behavior and tantrums. I think the whole daylight savings thing and changing the clocks back really goofed the kids sleep schedules up for a few days. Hopefully this week everyone will be better rested with improved behavior and attitudes!
How well did your children adjust to the time change?
