One of my favorite Amazon promotions is going on right now! You can get $10 off a purchase of $25 or more in books (physical books only, not ebooks).
There is something wonderful that happens when a child becomes engaged in a story. That moment when they stop fidgeting around and become completely still, listening intently as the words come alive in their mind. It’s exciting to watch it happen, knowing that a child is growing an appreciation for books and reading, just by listening.
Do you have a child that loves art and enjoys working with different art mediums? What if they had the ability to not only draw something but to actually draw it three-dimensionally? To create a drawing that they can see and touch from all sides. They might think that’s pretty awesome, right?! Well then, 3D art pens would be a great art medium for them to try!
Summer is approaching and with it come long days and playful children. Hot days with active kids can equate to a momma feeling a wee bit tired, especially when she’s been up since the crack of dawn with children who awake at the first light.
Simple crafts are my friend. Complex crafts that take too long are not my friend. I get very impatient with crafts (or recipes for that matter) that have five million steps. Or even 12 steps. I like to keep it quick and simple, while keeping the fun factor in tact.
